Work > Chandeliers

The human urge and ability to modify oneself and one's experience has been part of the focus of my collaborative work with Andy Diaz Hope. Chandeliers dripping with sparkling hypodermic needles, swarovski crystal, and colorful garlands of gelatin capsules hang above the viewer, highlighting the pursuit of an ideal, which may involve unintended consequences. Viewed from beneath they create colorful mandalas on which to meditate on one's relationship to pharmaceuticals.
